MARK DOUGLAS ROHDE

Mr. Rohde received a degree in architecture and continued in graduate school in civil engineering at the University of Illinois. After becoming a Michigan Professional Engineer in 1973, Mr. Rohde joined an established general contractor, located in the Grand Rapids area, which specialized in multiple housing in Michigan and the Upper Midwest. In the 20 years Mr. Rohde was with this firm, he rose to vice president/chief operating officer. During this time, he was responsible for the construction and design assistance for over 10,000 multiple housing units, as well as a number of larger commercial buildings.

In late 1992, Mr. Rohde formed Rohde Construction, with a large core of highly experienced field/office employees from his previous company. From its inception, Rohde specialized in all aspects of multiple construction. Because of its well-known capability in this field, grew very quickly and became one of the largest general contractors in Kent County, MI by 2002. At this time, it was also highly ranked nationally in multiple-based construction. Rohde Construction continues to operate in Michigan and the Upper Midwest.

In Mr. Rohde’s five decades of construction experience in has been involved as a general contractor on well over 20,000 units of multiple construction.
